Saif Ali Khan’s FIGHT with media @ COCKTAIL movie event
Bollywood actors Shahid Kapoor, Saif Ali Khan and Kangana Ranaut have reached Pasighat in Arunachal Pradesh for Vishal Bharadwaj’s next movie ‘Rangoon’. The upcoming high-budget film is set against the backdrop of World War II where some Indian soldiers fought for the British army against Subhash Chandra Bose’s Indian National Army in Rangoon, Myanmar (formerly Burma).Vishal Bharadwaj has confirmed the news and said, “It’s my most expensive film to date and will be my most musical.”Talking about the subject, Bharadwaj explained how it will be an eye-opener on a chapter of history that many people are completely unaware of. “If you visit a cemetery in Imphal, Manipur, you will see the graves of so many young soldiers who lost their lives in the Second World War. And the dark irony is that Indians were killing Indians because some of these soldiers fought for the British army against Subhash Chandra Bose’s Indian National Army in Rangoon,” he said.Kangana Ranaut will be travelling to New York City to research her role, and will head to an island in Mexico to learn solo living. Esha Gupta has been finalised to do an item number with Saif Ali Khan and Shahid Kapoor.The Film also stars Manipuri Actress Lin Laishram in a Major Role as well.Earlier she had missed out in the lead role in the film Mary Kom .
